Mobile Acupuncture Treatments

Olivier Lejus will bring his equipment, including a mobile treatment table, to your home. Your acupuncture treatment will be precisely individualised to your constitution and medical condition. This is particularly important if you require help inducing labour at the end of your pregnancy, are in pain, or are elderly and require exceptional care.

The Benefits of Acupuncture

Physical Benefits of Mobile Acupuncture

Experience the healing power of acupuncture in the comfort of your own home. Mobile acupuncture offers a range of physical benefits, including pain relief from chronic conditions like arthritis, migraine, and back pain. Acupuncture can also ease muscular tension and improve overall body function. By choosing mobile services, you'll enjoy personalised care explicitly tailored to your physical health needs, ensuring maximum comfort and effectiveness.

Emotional and Psychological Benefits

Mobile acupuncture alleviates physical pain; it's a holistic approach that addresses emotional and psychological well-being. Treatments are designed to reduce stress and anxiety, promoting a sense of peace and relaxation. Many clients report improved sleep patterns and a significant boost in mood following their sessions. Every session in the sanctuary of your own home is an opportunity to rejuvenate your mind and spirit alongside your body.

Mobile Acupuncture FAQs

  • The World Health Organization (WHO) recognises Acupuncture as a highly safe form of therapy compared to Western medicine, with only a rare incidence of injury. In addition, all registered acupuncturists in Australia must undertake intensive university training before graduation. Like all registered health practitioners, they must also complete ongoing professional training throughout their professional careers.

  • While I have over twenty years of clinical experience I have sometimes seen long-term conditions resolved after only one session. Still, you should expect a marked improvement in your condition within 3-4 treatments or less. If you are not improving at that stage, we will review your progress together, and I will recommend another professional more suited to your condition.

I will NEVER continue charging you if you are not making progress.

  • I have been practising a gentle form of Japanese acupuncture for many years. Acupuncture relaxes the nervous system, and many patients enjoy the relaxing sensation so much that they fall asleep during treatment. Nevertheless, you can sometimes feel a pinching sensation for a second or two when a needle is inserted. Your treatment should be an enjoyable experience, so if you feel ever uncomfortable, I will always remove the offending suspect without delay, and select another point instead.

  • Yes, I am a registered practitioner with the Australian private health funds, and depending on the level of their professional health coverage most patients can get a rebate. Please check with your health fund to make sure you are covered.

  • Absolutely. Mobile acupuncture offers the same high standards of care you would receive at a clinic but with the added convenience of being in your familiar surroundings. This often enhances the treatment’s effectiveness due to the comfort and relaxation of being at home.

  • We recommend choosing a quiet, comfortable space in your home where you can relax undisturbed for the duration of the session. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and try to have a light meal a few hours before your appointment. It’s best to avoid alcohol and caffeine on the day of your treatment.

  • The number of treatments varies depending on the individual and their specific health concerns. Some people experience significant improvement after just one session, while others may need multiple treatments to achieve the best results. We will review your progress regularly and adjust the treatment plan as necessary.

  • Acupuncture is a very safe method of treatment and side effects are rare. Occasionally, some people might experience minor bruising or soreness at the needle insertion points. Any mild discomfort typically subsides within a few hours.

  • Yes, acupuncture can be very beneficial during pregnancy. It is safe and can be effective for managing common pregnancy symptoms such as back pain and morning sickness. However, it is essential to inform your acupuncturist about your pregnancy so that appropriate acupuncture points are used.
